HOW TO ENTER

Three taps from the floor.

  1. The arcade's floor with a bell in the top-right corner.

    1In Arkade, tap the bell.

  2. The Workshop: an empty glass with a row of gems to place along the foot.

    2Tap to place gems. Drag the bars. Press PLAY to try it.

  3. The ENTER panel: the level's name, three initials, and the ENTER button.

    3Name it, sign it with three letters, press ENTER.

One level a player. Enter again and the new one replaces the old.

THE RULES

Nine lines, in plain words.
  1. Make a level for Ping. Enter it. One each; enter again and the new one replaces the old.
  2. Entries open September 8 and close October 16, 2026, at midnight Pacific time.
  3. Everyone plays and votes: at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, October 9 to 11, and on idessa.io until October 17. The votes count. Idessa picks the three winners.
  4. The three winning levels ship in Ping with their makers' initials. Each winner gets the Arkade. Free. Forever.
  5. Winners hear on October 20, in the arcade or by email, whichever you chose. Claim within 14 days, or the next level wins.
  6. You must be 13 or older to enter. Under 18, a parent must read these rules.
  7. Your level must be your own work. By entering, you let Idessa show it and ship it in the game, credited by your initials.
  8. Free to enter. One level a player. Void where prohibited.
  9. Apple is not a sponsor of this contest and is not involved in it in any way.
